A CRF 450 wouldn't put Cannondale out of business. IF they were to ever put that engine in a quad (which they won't) they would have it tuned down so much that it would MAYBE be able to crap out 30 HP. Why can't all the big companies just put a well tuned dirt bike motor directly into a quad frame???? Hell, the age limits on quads would suggest that we could handle a quad w/ a little more power. I mean, if they think it's unsafe on a machine that has 4 wheels, than how safe could it be on a machine that only has 2 wheels? And you can't really say that it wouldn't be good for trail riders because the quads even have much less power than the dirt bikes that were specifically made for trails. So all I have to say is.... WHAT THE FU<K?!?!?!?!?

i could see yamaha putting out a yz450 quad, that would take out cannondale. if these cannondales keep selling yamaha will put out a new aluminum frame/high output 450cc that will spank a cdale. just take a look at cdale dirtbikes, hondas and yamahas kill them. the suzuki may even hurt cannondale a lot, it has a steel frame and weighs less(win win situation). all the suzuki has to do is put out the hp the mags say it will. cdale won't be able to competer with these big companies IF THEY DECIDE TO PLAY.
