A friend of mine is selling his 1999 Grizzly....i don't ride with him, so i know nothing about his machine only that he is the kind of person who would take care of it and maintain it well...i was planning on buying the missus a rubicon, but depending on the replies here, i may buy the grizzly for myself and give her my rancher.. So, who can tell me about the 1999 Grizzly....it is a 600 isn't it?

It is indeed a 600, it has tons of power, and it's fast enough for me.
The thing I don't like about it is the 3wd, the engine also gets pretty hot around your legs legs because of the 600cc engine not being liquid cooled.
I love mine but if I had known the 660 was coming out when I bought mine I think I would have held off.
If you are getting a good price on it I would buy it, check the value on www.kbb.com

Like mine. It was my first.
Has a tendancy to foul the plug if not run till it's hot. Becomes a problem when I start it, load it on the back of the truck and shut it down. Get to where I'm going and can't start it. Changing the plug is a real pain when the thing is on the ground let alone up in the back of the truck. But she hauls and climbs great!
