I gather that you did lose that race to raptorboy673, if i read your post right. I assume there was a flagger, or starter of some sort? So does that count as a lie or not? Did you race a raptor with 673 on the front fender? He thought he was racing.

I KNOW THAT I ADDRESSED YOUR QUESTIONS ON THE DRAGSTRIP. I told you that i could lengthen or shorten it, plow it, I ASK YOU WHAT YOU NEEDED, YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOUR SPECS. Do a search, before you get caught in more lies. That is 2 tonight.

 

Wow, just ran into this post (about 2-hours of reading ago.)

I am not quite sure what A FEW of you Raptor owners are complaining about (HP/Dyno test numbers) to the engine builders. I wish we had as many choices for build-ups. Maybe Sparks, Trinity, Etc. should start making build-ups for DS's so they don't have to spend their time answering these questions.

My little 650 with only a pipe wouldn't stand a chance against all your build-ups but, I would still love to go to 4-stroke wars next year. Wish I was there but, I think Sparks is due the credit, he won the races. I hope it was with a standard modification he would do to anyone's quad but, he has to live with it if it isn't.

I want to see the following races:
DS703 vs. Raptor 686
Above on NOs
DS760 vs. the Raptor 770 vs. the Raptor 800 vs. Raptor 720
Above on NOs
DS Turbo on NOs vs. Raptor Turbo on NOs

Watching those race would probably cost me about $5k (going price for a 760 kit.)

Hope to see some of you at Sand Mt. NV on Memorial Day weekend. I love to see what people do to their quads.

 

Velocity- you and zombie need to come to Aledo. It is only 30 minutes from your old playgound at mossier valley. Is your raptor tuned machine, tuned to the tune of a 10K prize?

Scoody post the DYNO sheet. I know you have it, cause you said more than a 100 hp, and you have told everyone that you do not lie.

 

14mins, you are correct about us seeing scooby at muenster well over a year ago. He had his first suv at that time and was working on the valves or something after riding around the parking area a little bit. He never went on a trail ride with any of us on that trip. His present suv was on order and due soon. I also do remember your post in this forum about what he would need in the way of running room. Scooby says in another thread that he did not even start to hook up until about a 1,000 feet. Hurrycne and Roostin tried many times to get him to come to Aledo and even they got frustrated because he did not respond to there invites. Scooby, come on out and play. We all have fun even with the trash talking going on. Just ask Hurrycne and Roostin. It is great to see how long you have been persistant with much trial and error to get where you are with your DS. I hope to see it run sometime.

BTW, here is a thread that post not only was he invited but he also posted that he should come and give his fellow DS buds some help.

There is more than one thread in the archives where Scooby has talked about getting together in Aledo but is has not happened yet. Even free food and drinks did not work but others were more than willing.

14mins, I agree! I know for a fact that scooby has an awesome top end. And that would be really cool in the 1/4 mile(which I would like to see BTW), However most drags or from 300ft. to 600ft. And comes down to 50% power/50% rider. Scooby would be VERY hard to beat in a race over 800ft, And I don't think he has enough "seat-time" to make a really fast 300ft drag(unless he makes himself a wheelie-Bar).


Scooby, I think betting 10g's is alittle DRASTIC! why cant we all just do a BIG test&tune at 14mins place,and swap stories and secrets? This doesn't need to be anything more than "friendly competition".
