Hey Corndog, my Raptor just ate a Cannibal, TODAY...witnessed by many!!! Heck even the rider said to post it here and if anyone didnt believe it he would back me!!! Not too shabby considering it didnt break down or tip over. I'll be the first to admit the Cdale is impressive but to slam the Raptor and tell us how great you and your cannibal are.... well....thems fightin words!

I've seen a couple fast 416's. I was impressed. I really don't find my girlfriends 400EX that slow. In a short drag it gives my DS a good run.

 

In stock form, it's not "woefully underpowered" as one rag put it, it just doesn't have the rush feel of a DS, Cannondale, or Raptor. I've only done 1 drag race session with a raptor and my 416, and it was pretty even. Whoever got the better start was the winner. Neither of us had stock wheels/tires/gearing either though. I'm just not very entertained by drag racing. I'd rather be on the track or in the woods.

 

Mr45Auto - Check out the C-dale forum... All cornd0rk ever does is put down the Cannondales because C-dale won't give him a FREE computer after they already replaced his engine rail for FREE even after it was out of warranty since he bought it used!!!!!! Hard to believe that some people (corndog) can actually be that stupid. That **** for brains idiot expects everything to be given to him.

 

yeah i bet a piped raptor can beat the cannondale if the raptor gets the better start. the cdale midrange is weak, that is what causes me to lose(if i lose, most of the time i win).

 

OMG!!! Corndog... the one that said that a Cannondale could outrun a raptor w/ airbox mods, pipes, jet kit, etc is now saying that a cannondale CAN'T outrun a Raptor!?!?!?!?!? LLLLOOOOOLLLLLLL, Holy **** what an idiot. Corndog, you wanna know why you don't have any mid-range power? It's because you don't know how to ride. I had a 440ex that was modded like crazy for MX pull a lead on me out of the gate and I ran his @ss down and was ahead of him at the first corner. Try shifting out of first gear... there's 5 of them.

 

My last post might be a little misleading. I didn't own a 440ex, I meant There was a 440ex that got the better start out of the gate. But like I said, I was ahead of him coming into the first corner.

 

In a somewhat feeble attempt to back CornDog up.. He never said anything about his Cannondale. razrmazr actually brought up Cannondale for the 1st time in this post. Maybe we're just so used to CornDog backing/bashing Cannondale, we presumed he said it?

Now.. To bash a little. CornDog, you have no ******* clue what you're talking about. Cannondales will pull 440EX's from starting gate to 1st corner. Raptors as well. When YoDaddy lined up with my built 250R and a stocker ATC250R, he came out victorious. The Cannondale pulled my motor gear for gear, from hole to finish.

 

my friend's dad agrees the midrange isn't that good, maybe it is an ec500 thing.

 

well ill tell you what,I have a 2002 400 ex and went riding today with a brand new crapter,the reverse didnt work,the front shock broke and it got a hole in the side wall on the front tire. I rode hard,not a problem.(honda thinks before they build a machine)
