I've had this happen on my Big Bear. The only thing that happend to me was that the bulbs burnt out at the same time. I figured that I placed the switch between high and low beam by accident.

I had that happen to me on my Grizzly. I was riding with the switch set to run both the high and low beams at the same time. They got to hot and melted the soldier. It is a bitch getting that bulb out of the seal beam. Yamaha parts didn't have the bulbs, I had to special order them but that was way back when the machines were first out. Head light bulbs from a Banchee (sp) fit and they are a 5 watt strong bulb than the Griz. I bought the Banchee bulbs and ordered the Grizzly bulbs which I am looking at right now part #4KB-84314-00. Also, once I saw the position of the ring on the new bulb I was able to soldier the old ones bach together. I now have 4 spare bulbs....Arlan
