DO a search on this subject. You will find I have ran most-everything. If it was more convenient for me accessing Maxima, thats all I would run. Although pricey, It's the best oil available IMO.

Im running Motul full Synthetic. From dealer Yamamlube is garbage. low grade oil. Yamaha is thinking about getting rid of the line or new start.

Yamalube garbage? I seriously doubt that. This debate will rage forever. If you got the bucks, go with Maxima full synthetic. Awesome oil. I'm sure amsoil is great too. I'm using Yamalube semi-synthetic with no problems. Garbage? Naw!!!

I used to use yamalube..then by accident i used a single quart of the semi synthetic..blew my clucth out. i now use Honda 10/50..Thats some good oil...nice and thick too. also i noticed that even after one ride with the yamalube..the oil would be be black!!

RUn the honda oil you wont be dissapointed..

For anyone that says one oil is better than another, How can you tell? I know the ones, like myself, that tried semi-syn. and lost a clutch I understand, but how about everyone else?

I have run Amsoil in my 2 Polaris, LT250R (Two Stroke Oil as well), 400EX, Raptor, 2 426's and my 929. We run it in a lot of vehicles. Very impressed with the results.

On my 929, I changed out the break in oil, and went to the Amsoil and the motor was noticably quieter.

I have yet to have a motor failure using Amsoil. So far, it is the one I trust the most.
