Is there a spring on the accelerator pump?

On the 1995 there definately is. But the 1995 runs a 36mm carb. whereas 96 and up run a 34mm carb. I'm not sure if the acc. pump is different or not. My spring became weak on mine and I replaced it with a ball point pen spring. It works great! Take a spring off a pen, put it on, and give it a try.
