My banshees compression when i bought it was 130.(i bought it used)After a couple of hard ride it was then 128, and about 3 rides later it was 125. Now after this weekend it was 118. Do you guyes think this is moving down to fast? And Whens the time i should change the piston and Rings on it. PS ITS AN *( WITH NO WORK BEFORE EXCEPT 1 BORE OVER. thanks for the infoe

Something's wrong there... Are you not running enough pre-mix maybe? What ratio and what oil are you using? It shouldn't go down that fast.

I am running 20:1 premix with non-synthtic oil. i ride prety hard and it is jetted right. ( i have toomy pipes and i got the toomey perfect jet kit.) should i run Synthtic oil? Does cold weather effect the compression?

Cold weather changes the air densidy which can change the readings slightly. Check your air filter to make sure it is sealing perfecty so no dirt is getting by. To get accurate readings check the compression with the throttle open, same ammount of kicks each time you check, make sure your engine is cold every time, and use the same guage.
