I am running 20:1 premix with non-synthtic oil. i ride prety hard and it is jetted right. ( i have toomy pipes and i got the toomey perfect jet kit.) should i run Synthtic oil? Does cold weather effect the compression?

Cold weather changes the air densidy which can change the readings slightly. Check your air filter to make sure it is sealing perfecty so no dirt is getting by. To get accurate readings check the compression with the throttle open, same ammount of kicks each time you check, make sure your engine is cold every time, and use the same guage.
