#11
American Honda's ATV sales continued to rise in 2001 ending the year at 238,557, a 13% increase over last year. This strong performance strengthened Honda's number one market share position to 32.7%.
Overall, including scooters, American Honda sold 470,106 units in the United States last year, a dramatic increase of 84,578 (21.9%) compared to2000. Honda's number one share position increased to 31%.
This is from the front page of atc connection under Honda year end sale.
The 25,000 raptors are you sure of those numbers?
Honda is continuing to out sell the compitition with less bike more power to them.
The consumer rules his checkbook and until the 400EX market share dies down than that's all they have to make. How long has the Warrier, and Banshee been out and just last year they make a new quad.
Not trying to start, just stating some rarly used facts.

too bad it weighs 30 pounds less than the Raptor, has only one hp less, handles a lot better than the Raptor, obviously looks like a HAYABUSA sport bike, (it doesn't even have a grille, mr. smarty pants!) Costs as much as the slow-*** 400EX, has a nic-a-sil cylinder (friggen tough stuff)... The list goes on and on...

Heh, Doesn't suprize me too much, Honda officially lost me as a repeat customer today.(my new grizz is tucked in my shed) That's even with me being perfectly happy about my first Honda, it may not be my last, but for the meantime I'm not gonna wait for their slow ****. Maybe in 2009 when they finaly have surpassed current tech/power standards they'll have something I might want again(IMO they are up to speed if not leading ergo's and refinement).
