Non-typical grizz. warn mounts?
#1
Ok this may sound weird but after talking to all the hunters on my lease they all say the standard place to mount a winch will not work on our lease. They said its too muddy and the saltwater will destroy the winch after about 3 outings. They say to mount it as high as possible.
One buddy is going to mount his on top of his front rack. Well after looking at pictures I think I would perfer to have it mounted between the lights so I would still have use of my front rack.
I think I am going to have to build one heck of a weird mount to get it too sit where I want it.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Check out the Warn Multimate setup. I've been pretty happy with mine. Typically, I leave the winch on rhe rear mount, which is pretty high, to protect it from most of the crud. If I thought I was going in deep stuff, i could always dismount the winch and place it in my rack mounted dry box until needed. A very good system for keeping your winch clean and dry so it will work when you really need it.
