have a winch mounted on my wolverine but I am not happy with the mounting location. It is so low on the front that it digs into the ground and is guaranteed to be submerged. The link below shows how it is currently mounted.
I was hoping others could show me a better way to mount it. Do you think the built in bumper would be strong enough if I mounted it there?

Thanks for any help

Pics

I think I've fixed the pics now.

Is the plate in the frame or outside and what is the brand of winch plate? Also your pics is not working.

Warn winch, warn mounting plate mounted outside the frame, also attached to the skid plate. I moved the pics elsewhere so they should be visible now.

that is exactly how mine is mounted too.. I have had it hit a few things, but never cause trouble

I saw in a mag one time, some guy had taken off his front rack and mounted the winch to the 2 grey bars that come down across the front plastic. Looked ok, but also kept it up and out of the way.

I assume it was custom made
