Raptor sprocket

I am going to change my front sprocket and was wondering how many ft. lbs of torque on the nut? What is the correct size in metric, I didn't have a metric one big enough so I used a Imp size (It worked but I would like to go get the proper one) Thanks in advance [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

50ft lbs. Don't know the size of the nut.

Heres what it says in the service manual 70Nm (7.0 m . kg, 50 ft . lb)

I have to admit, I tighten em back up with an approx of how tight it came off. I asked a few reputable places about using torque wrenches & they said they go by feel as well. Sounds like the people who post on this forum take better care of their quads for free than paying most mechanics.
I'll probably break down & buy a torque wrench when I start to do some engine/tranny work.

A 1" 1/4 size socket fits the nut perfect.

1 1/4 or a 32mm

they are virtual the same socket size

I use the german method... goodntight
