1 and 1/2 turns out is the factory specification.
With the mods you have, you may require a different setting.
Have you changed the pilot jet? If not, you MAY require a different setting. The air screw's only purpose is to "fine tune" the pilot jet. I would start at the factory spec. and go from there.
As you know, this only affects idle to 1/4 throttle.
