You know, I think that Cannondale had the right idea about not de-tuning their bikes, that just prooves that 4 strokes are capable of more than the Honda and Yamaha's do. I think I need Honda's e-mail address, so I can tell them to stop making their bikes soooooo much slower than they oughta' be.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

The Cannondale isnt maxed out from the factory. KNOWSALOT was talking about how cannondale has found out how to get 12hp from head mods with stock components. Plus there is soo much more things that can be done like- throttle bodies, diffrent fuel maps, diffrent headers and pipes, injectors, cams.

 

And big bore kits too. You can bet that Trinity is workin on something right now for the Dale that will melt the plastics right off of all the Jap quads. Obviously there isn't going to be a lot out for the Dales because this is their first venture into the motorsports world... people wanted to see how it would do and since the first year models had a lot of problems, it's pretty much up to the second year models to prove what Cannondale can do. Now that people are realizing that the dales are in fact, bad @ss, there are more products coming out for it.

King I too have never seen a cannaondale within stiking distance of my Raptor. We'll just have to see how those cannondale motors hold up when modded, only time will tell.

 

the dales are nice bikes but don't know how good they will sell because man they sure are expensive.and i have been riding at a few places and seen people towing them back to there car and thoughts not a pretty sight seeing a 10,000k bike being pulled behind a 5000k bike. who knows they can only get better you would think. As for power they have what it takes but i wouldn't trust riding one far for now.

 

RaptorRyan- what kind of mods do you have on your raptor? Where are you located at? I would love to see how my Cannibal compares to a Raptor.

The only Cannondales up here are the peddle kind, and not to many of them want to race me, or any other quads for that matter[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] So I can't wait to see a z400.

 

MX98er- How do you know you can beat a raptor, if you have never raced one? I rode the snot out of a cannon last night. Bounced it off the rev limiter numerous times. Never found the powerband. There are to many 15 year olds, that have never ridden a quad, giving out way to much advice on these forums.

 

Come on guy's i keep hearing cannondale frist attempt in the sport bike market. are we for getting the bike in the closet.Wheres the dirt bike now!
