just curious, are Trinity going to provide you with before after flow bench numbers ? I'm sure Harry has the numbers.

Another engine builder, who shall remain nameless because all the idiots on this forum will then argue for like 6 weeks and a 1000 posts of dribble about it, provided before after flow bench numbers for head work completed on a friends 4 stroke race engine (not a Raptor)as part of there service. Personally I'd want to see the numbers before/after to be sure of the performance gain. No gain no $ !

You have my blessing. Why have you not shipped it out yet?

I never thought to ask trinity for before and after numbers, I was more interested in getting my head back and my motor assembled, but I would have been real interested in those numbers, maybe when harry gets back in town i can ask him for some general info, hey 10days from my house and back from trinity, no complaints with that kind of turnaround

If you want before and after flow results, just ask.

How is the measurement stated, is it in cfm's or what? Also what would be a good starting point to compare #'s with? Say if I called Joe Smoe and he said he could get me x amount, what would be good, and what would be bad?

Do a search on this topic. You should be looking for a flow test at 28" of water. You want great low lift flow on the exhaust and great high lift flow on the intake. You also want to know at what lift does the flow no longer increase (or actually decrease). Then, depending on what you are doing with the engine, you will want to shoot for a specific ratio of flow between the intake and exhaust.
