what oil should i use for my (93) warrior trans and how can i check to see how much to fill it? is there a sight glass? thanks

 

your engine oil also lubes the tranny

 

I thought you just filled it up almost to the rim? I don't know about warriors. But, try using a 10-30w oil.

Can you use regular trans oil (synthetic) for a 2 cycle engine? OR does it have to be Honda HP trans oil?

I usually use just a normal 10w 30 on my old warrior, but most people that I know swear by the Yammalube (available at any Yamaha dealership)

No its a 4stroke. Yamalube does make a 2 stroke oil (to mix with gas) as well as a normal engine oil ex. 10w 30

 

I run 20w40 in the summer (Yamalube) and it will hold two full quarts and you should have 350ml left in the third quart for a total of 2500ml.

 

I am talking about the oil that goes into where the clutch and gears are for my 2 stroke. I have been using Honda HP @ $5.99 a quart. One quart is all she takes. Was wondering anything cheaper? I use AMSoil for my pre-mix though.
