My friend told me he heard that if you have headlight, tail/brake light, mirrors, street tires, insurance, that you can get it registered and drive on the road legaly. Is this true or has anyone seen or heard of anyone doin it. I personaly dont see why you couldnt. It would be awesome

How does one go about finding out if their state has this law, and if not how to change it. I would definately ride my DS on the roads/Interstate if it was possible.

Interstate??!!?! Quads motors aren't meant to be held a high rpms, for long periods of time, your engine will be toast after a while.

Thrust, the beauty of the 4 stroke, they have moe torque(usually) so you can lug them a gear high down the road! Call Mike about your needs, my cousin has talked to him a couple times, he knows his **** and will give you all the info you need for this kind of project.

Thrust, the motor in the DS has been used in the BMW 650F for many years before it was put into the DS. And I believe the Raptor engine also came from a "street bike". I know their would have to be some gearing and tire changes,But I wouldn't be afraid to CRUZ the DS.

Don't you need turn signals? I know up here anything on the road must have them. (not that anyone uses them) Except bicycles
