I sorry you had to deal with them for your bike. I work in Heidelburg every day during the week if you would like to try out a 10" rim. I have some for my Raptor, I don't know the bolt pattern on yours but mine is like 4/115. Even if it doesn't fit it might give you an idea.

My bolt pattern is 4/110 same as the utility Yamaha's. I appreciate it anyway. Where did you get your Raptor from?

I got it from Laurel. I have also bought more from them and brought in four more in one month. This was all before their good mechanics and salesmen left. I used to walk in the door and the guy I bought all my stuff from helped me every way possible, not any more. Now I won't walk in the door unless I can't find a part anywhere else. I get everything I can from Laurel Honda. They actualy treat you like most people would like to be treated. I have never heard anything negative even though I have never bought a Honda.

Who would you recommend to install a piston & cam for my Wolverine? Maybe even some polish & porting work.

Let me know how the 10" wheels work out. I have considered that myself.

As far as motor work, "Four Stroke Tech" is pretty well known as being the authority on Warrior/Wolverine power.

I agree with AIRWOLF. If you are talking about around here Laurel Honda, they don't like to work on Yamahas but they will. Their head mech used to be the head mech at Laurel Yamaha before all the good people left. Another suggestion would be a place in Hattiesburg called All Pro Cycles, I don't know of them doing any Wolv/ War motors but he is #1 when it comes to drag bikes. Also H'burg Cycles is out of the question, service dept sucks.

Very close friends of mine have had VERY poor service from H'burg Cycles. All of it has been warrenty work from the service Dept.

For a place to ride check out Rattle Snake Bay. Do a search on it in the Where to ride forum. Great place for all types of riding except mud.

one of my good friends has an older quad runner and his oil cap was lost when the mechanic didnt tightened it back, he went hattiesburg cycles to get another oil cap, they ordered one and it wasnt big enough, so they told him they didnt make them that big. so...they are a real pain..also they wouldnt go down on the price, we bought a brand new grizzly yesterday and couldnt get them down, they were just gonna give us some free hats.
