Does anyone have a website or a post that can show and describe some free mods. I bought my raptor 4 monthas ago now and am looking for some easy improvments without dishing out some cash right now.

Well that might be fine and dandy on WR250, but on Raptor....hhhmmmmmm.
Far I could tell what I have been told or read on dirt wheel article the cheapest mod is to put bigger jetting and mod the air box under 10 dollar and an hour of your labor.

your call.... have you been reading article from dirtwheels,Atvaction ot ATVsport lately?

No I haven't. I have heard about cutting holes into your air box but I haven't seen what it looks like. I am new to the ATV world.

How in the hell can you remove the spark arester from the stock pipe?
I tried spraying the hell out of it with WD-40 and pulling it out.
Riding it for a while still don't come out.
You don't even need the screw that "holds it in place" on the stupid thing.
I already bent it with a chanel locks pretty decent reefing on it......

You should try and scrape up the dough for a slip-on. The HMF are very nice and under $200. The stock exhaust isn't worth fooling with, I've tried. I've modded a bunch of stock exhausts and this one is just meant for that spot on the wall at the back of the garage. Modding the airbox is easy, rejetting a Raptor is a major pain, but definetely buy the individual jets, the "kits" are such a rip-off. Be super careful putting the airfilter back in, the Yamaha filter is pretty squirrly, it's easy to screw it up and suck a bunch of dirt into the motor. The PRO-FLOW set up is really nice, but it's a bunch of dough, like $129. I hadn't heard the one about bolting on a K&N, might work.
