Ok thanks, sorry if I sound paranoid.....

Are those hoses that are so close to the ground normal?

Anybody?

The short hoses are the vent lines to the carbs. If they are blocked off, fuel can't enter the carbs.

The hoses closest to the ground are the overflow lines. They flow fuel only when the fuel level inside the carburetor is above which the float inside is set at. This occurs from wheelying, a crash, or when the needle valve in the carburetor goes bad. They don't have vacuum, so don't be concerned with them.

You can submerge them with no problems. As knowsalot said, they are vent lines...they won't suck water in.

Uh didn't he say if they're blocked off fuel can go in the carb?

Having them submerged in water, would be blocking them off, correct?

Which would result in me having to get off of my a$$ and pull it outta the water, which would result in me getting pissed off, because I got my shoes wet.

Is the banshee just not water-friendly?

DUDE. just dont worry about it, you can cross some water with no problem.
This should be the end of the topic.

ps. The Banshee is not really (at all) the greatest slow trail with river crossings type of ATV, you do realize that, dont you??
