The short hoses are the vent lines to the carbs. If they are blocked off, fuel can't enter the carbs.
The hoses closest to the ground are the overflow lines. They flow fuel only when the fuel level inside the carburetor is above which the float inside is set at. This occurs from wheelying, a crash, or when the needle valve in the carburetor goes bad. They don't have vacuum, so don't be concerned with them.

Uh didn't he say if they're blocked off fuel can go in the carb?
Having them submerged in water,would be blocking them off,correct?
Which would result in me having to get off of my a$$ and pull it outta the water,which would result in me getting pissed off,because I got my shoes wet.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
