Looking for aluminum cv guards for a 2001 kodiak 400 anyone.....?

Hey all a friend of mine has a 2001 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4 and he is looking for some aluminum (metal) cv boot guards to replace the cheap stock ones. if anyone knows a place where i can get some for this bike please reply to this post..thanks

I installed some made from steel. They are manufactured by Motovan (I think in Quebec)and available here in Canada.

I bought my machine used and the originals were missing so I can't compare but I'm not 100% satisfied with them. They offer very little protection for the outer CV boots. They do cover the axle shaft and inner boots very well, but leave the outer fairly exposed to the front.

I may try to add a little on with the welder one of these days.

Copy and paste one of them into your address web address field on your browser. I just tried and they worked fine.

No, both the links you gave me work but when i click on the link from the page to go to the cv boot protectors i get a 404 page not found....not your fault though =)

Try "Life Time Alluminum Products" They have a web site but I am not sure what it is. I have some of their stick guards on my Wolverine and they are very high quality.

If you can't find their site let me know, I have it written down somewhere.
