They are trying to shut down all off road use in NJ. The bill also includes special events the only place you could ride is on your own land. This bill is backed by the Sierra club. Which means if they get running your state can be next. Please go to www.njorvp.org and sign our on line petition even if you are not from the state it will help. Remember your state can be next. Guys, you need to dign this pettition. so far after i signed it, it was 677 signatures. That's not enough!!

 

696 here. I know all too well about public lands being closed to atv's. Try to get your local newspapers involved in this issue. Show them your signatures and tell them how valuable this land is to you and fellow ATVers. Its sad that you must play bad politics, but let the gov. know that you mean business. Let them know that you will not let this issue die and it will mean bad publicity if nothing is done.

I am fighting with my senators about trying to get some atv trails reopened in my area. I collected 1516 signatures that my Congressman and Senators seem to think is toilet paper. I hate to say it, but it doesn't look good for me. If they keep sitting on their hands as I expect, I plan on popping them with class action lawsuit for denied access to the land by the handicapped. Hopefully that will get their attention.

Still working on all of that. Trying to get through in Washington to make sure what all needs to be done (what all info to get from people and if i need to record thier IP address etc.)to make the signatures count. Hope to have it up before long, but they keep tossin me around like a hot tatter up at the capitol.
