I got a set of propegs for my raptor today and tried to put them on. First the right one was too long by the engine mount and I had to cut it down. Called AC, they said that 100 or so were messed up and that it was cool just to hack off the extra 1.5 or so inches. Did that and they fit now, eventhough I should not have had to do that.... Now the shifter seems too low, i tried to adjust with the linkage, but it was at its highest. Can I just rotate the bottom half on the shift shaft a little and raise the shifter?? Also, the bolts for the footpeg that came with them, is it best to drill the holes up and down through the top of the peg i take it??? Well other then that I like them, they seem like they will work really good after all the hacking to get them on, oh well, wouldn't be fun if it was too easy now would it? Thanks guys

Thanks man, one other question I forgot to ask.... The bar puts pressure on the oil hoses when they are on the bottom or top, so I put them both under the bar, because over seemed like it might kink them, is the bottom where you guys are running the oil hoses??? Thakns again

I would just cut a little off the end and put it on the top because something could cut it under and then your leak oil with out knowing it and your screwed.

My oil lines run underneath the nerfbar I have had no problems with them getting nicked or cut. Then again I run the GYT-R skid plate also.

If you run a engine skid run under no skid shave and go up.
