I was thinking of installing a pressure switch for either the front or rear brake of my '01 Kodiak and re-wiring the rear lamp to a dual element socket.

Have any of you installed a brake light? Where did you find a suitable pressure switch?

I would check the setup on a 2002. Then, I woul check with Kevin's Cycle. They sell switches for the rear brake petal on motorcycles that could be adapted.

Yamaha has a OE kit for around 60.00. I put it on my 2000 and it is nice. Call any Canadian dealer.

What did the Yamaha kit include? Did it have a pressure switch for both front and rear brakes, or just one?

That's a little pricey, if it converts to CDN dollars...around $100.00 CDN. I think I can get a pressure switch for about $16.00 and a socket and bulb for another $10.00. Wire, well I have lots of wire....so I think I'll try to rig one up, but thanks anyways. I'll check my dealer for curiousity sake.
