<< Don't know, how old are you phoneguy? Binford, rocky? I'm 40. This girl was quite capable of handling this quad. Her brother who was around the same age as her give or take a year was on a piped and ported Banshee dragging right along side of her. My sons ages 11 and 12 ride my Raptor, my friends Banshee, my brothers DS. They handle them quite well. What are ya afraid of? Don't be haters because some kids in this world can ride better than you. And Rocky, where do you get off trying to say I'm not smart? Binford, you're the ignorant one. You've shown it in more than just this post. I let my kids ride because they've been riding for 5 years. They started on a LT80 and a Badger. Both of which we still have and they are bored stiff with them. Rocky, better rebuild that Polaris cause I don't think you can handle your DS. See look what you started. This was a post about a 686 Raptor, That just happened to have a very capable rider aboard, that just happened to be a young girl. Deal with it. >>
They have an award for people that think like you. Its called the Darwin awards, check into it. If you want to further embarass yourself then email me!

Its all about being sheltered. Some parents fear for there child and don't let there child fear for themself. I am sure that the girls parent thought she was quite capable to ride the quad and even if she crashs those things happen you learn from them. When your having fun your having fun. The child has found a way to express herself in a good way and the high she gets from the speed and jumps are alot better than drugs. Right!!!
By the way my son races mx he is 7 and loves it. He is at a age were he can go ito a faster bike or stay were he is at. We chose to stay, next year he will move up. Its all on his skill.

Geez- i am not as old a wshrdskn (39) but if the shoe fits, let them ride. Now for those who do not agree- I doubt you have ever been on a 686 so you really can not comment. I have a 686 and a 11 year old son. He has moved it from point a to point b but is not ready to handle it. The 686 does not have a hard hit in the powerband. Strong, smooth power from bottom to top. A DS and shee hit a lot harder. (they are just slow)I see nothing wrong with adult supervision and the right conditions.
