I have the Trail Tech computer & Yamaha Hour meter (I love gadgets!!)
Look at the Trail tech lights they're an exelent addition.

14mins tends to think that Yamaha didnt fix the tranny problem on the 02's. He claims 02 riders are having tranny failures too.

Congrats on the great purchase!

I believe I have a better method than a hour meter or by a certain time period, I check them!

It only takes a few minutes to check the oil level and color, as well as the air filter. This should be done before every ride, hour meter or not.

Besides, the more weight I can shave the better.

Lonestar.....14mins is right....I have been checking around for gears for my Raptor.....the word is 3rd gear goes on the '02's! So the '02 gear set is not a complete fix.

Complete fix = 1 cool grand + labor (if you can't do it yourself). Raptor, the toy that keeps on giving.
