jet kit and k&n for the new grizzly
#1
hi all,
i am going to order the filter and jet kit for my griz, but have a few questions.
1.) is the jet kit easy, or really complicated? i did one on my warrior, and i thought it was easy, just wanted to know in advance.
2.) is the k&n filter the best for this quad?
3.) i have bored out my exhaust, is this enough? i really dont want to purchace an aftermarket pipe.
4.) i need to keep my airbox stock, does it matter?
thanks to all who reply!!!

Checkout the ProFlow filter setup. It makes an airtight seal to your airbox. The K & N fits just like the stock filter using the ring of sponge that loosenes up. If you ride a lot of dusty roads and trails, that will keep the sand out of the motor.
Let me know how the Jet kit Does, I'm thinking about that. Have you dissabled your rev limiter? I really need to do that.

Having checked the valves on my grizz [getting to]the jetting isn't too bad with minimal tools. I would not say it's 'really easy' though, count on an hour minimum.
I've not done enough wrenching on mine to know if the other mods out really do the trick or not, someday I want to get my own dyno, till then I use hillclimb tests for power.
