hey guys,
well, i added larger tires, and snorkled the belt drive. slowed it down, so i did some improvments to the exhaust, still not enough.
i just ordered the k&n jet kit, air filter, and a supertrapp exhaust system. ( i owned one on my warrior, and loved it) i will be installing it on friday next week, right after the 4th. if that isn't enough to make it dance at ALL speeds, then i will be installing the new clutch kit offered by highlifter. has anyone done the clutch kit on there grizzly yet? told it was great, if you had oversized tires, and the aftermarket goodies, but if not, then dont do it?

Kudo's to you dude!!!
If you do it, don't keep us in the dark, let us know how it does....I haven't down the clutch mod but that is because I heard it takes away your top end....I believe my next mod will be a cam, and then modding the auto tranny to move it's revving up to the new HP/TQ curve.

To be honest,
I dont really care if i lose some on the top end....the most important thing for me, is the raw power at the bottom. Trail speeds here are slow (45 is WAY fast enough to get you into trouble). I need to be able to pull myself through the swamp/muck and up the hills that only a cat could climb.
I am excited to see how your mods do! and what they end up costing.
