Raptorguy did you buy the elka rear shock for $325 or get an Elka conversion kit for $325? that sounds cheap if it was a new rear elka shock.

I've got Works pro all the way around. The fronts are piggy backed, triple rate (not zero preload) and the rear is single rate remote rezzie. Why did your bushings go out? would it
be worth it to send them back to works to make 'em zps? That knucklehead from Quad Central II,
Steve Abbott, talked me out of getting zps, triple rate all around because he said that it bottoms out too easy. What's everyones take on that?

I don't have them but from what I hear about ZPS, is that it doesn't bottom out any easier. This is because once your tire is off the ground your suspension is at full extension. I actually just read an article on suspensions and the zero pre-load is the choice suspension of all high end ATV suspension manufacturers as well as pro MX'ers. I highly doubt MX'ers would use ZPS if it bottomed out easily.

my $.02,

P.S. I am going to send out the rear shock later this week to the quad shop for the Elka conversion which has this, I'll let everyone know how I like it when I get it back. BTW I rode once with the triple rate front shocks last week and they rock! I ended up landing on 1 front tire from a jump and the shock soaked it up, I'd probably be over the bars if they were stock.

Jeff,
That was $325 for the conversion kit and the labor from the shop. I'm gonna play around with the clicker settings this weekend for my motos and try to get it dialed in a little more now. But after the first motos on it, I realize how far off the fronts are compared to my rears. Hope that helps.
