My buddy is trying to sell me his 92 Warrior and the shocks are shot to hell. Whats a decent pair of shocks going to cost and where do I find them? Also it needs an engine rebuild. How much am I looking at for this?- thanks

$300 for new works dual rate steelers, $400-800 for a rear.

A couple hundred said and done for a topend..

I assume you're talking about just the front suspension. The rear is rebuildable. It depends somewhat on your interpretation of "decent". I ran TCS's on my 97 Warrior and they made a completely new bike out of it...flatter cornering, more control in small as well as larger bumps & whoops. The remote cans permitted control of compression in varied terrain. When I added mine, the cost was $650. The pair I now have on the Raptor were $750 & well worth the money if you ride hard. If you don't feel you need custom built shocks, you can get some Works off-the- shelf models for considerably less money.
