Just finished installing the Scotts oil filter on my Raptor and wanted to comment on the very high quality of this item. All too often aftermarket parts are disappointing. More often than not the the engineering is poor, the fitment is sloppy, quality is marginal, and cost is way out of proportion. Not the case with Scotts - I wish they produced more components for the Raptor ! I'm confident I'll be using this filter for years to come and actually saving money by doing so.

 

I've got 1 too. It's a very nice piece. No more $13 Yamaha filters for me!

 

I would like to see this setup. Never even heard of this Scotts filter.

I have to say you cant go wrong with the scotts. 113 dollars shipped is a bit steep but for the money you cannot beat it! It is reusable has cooling fins and just looks bad@ss
