Hey Adam. Put some more time on my Z. You'll find that you will be faster everywhere but the dragstrip. It takes some mulla to make the Rap. handle and Jenny Craig doesn't work on Raptors. At 135lbs. Adam , you will be fast on just about anything. With the 40mm carb, cam, and port work added to the mods on mine, it should hang with the big bores{drags} and you know how well it does on the MX track. Green Z's are coming and a good buddy of mine owns a Kaw. shop. I'm sure he can get ours for about $5000 new.{I'm getting one because the yellow one is coming along great} Remember I've owned 3 Raptors with many mods and I could never get them on Jenny Craig.lol

 

Yeah, I'd sure like to put a little bit more time on your Z400, Rod, but I don't think my dad will be really thrilled to drive to Kerrville. If you want to drive up to where I live for a day, That would be fine, shoot me a PM, and we will see what we can do.

P.S: What is this about Jenny Craig? I thought the Raptors were light already?

 

You thought Raptors were light already, that's funny!! Their weight with all liquids tips the scale at almost 450 pounds!! When you factor in their narrow stance and high center of gravity, they get real tippy!! Of course if you want to sink money into a new axle, new a-arms, new shocks, etc., it will eliminate some of that problem. But it's still going to be a lead sled, that's what they meant about the Jenny Craig comment!! It's all about power to weight ratio:

What kind of training wheels did you say are on your Raptor? Dude, it takes a lot more than an axle for the Rap. to handle as well.
