I craked my Griz fender in half last night. It's a clean brake, and should be fixable. Any suggestions?

Been there done that....

Here's what I done, I used some steel strap and bent it into a part to fit in the corner where the foorboard bolts to the fender. I drilled a hole in the fender to put a honda body rivet in, I bolted the steel strap with the existing bolt and hooked the fender back up with the rivet, if something catchs the fender again I hope the rivet breaks and I'll just put a new one on. Here's pictures.

also see the inside view in the same folder for a look at the steel strap.
