I was just looking over my banshee I just bought. Its got thoe Keihen (sp?) PWK carbs on it and they say "for motorcycle racing only". I thought that was kinda cool. But are they good? the dude I bought it from said they were like 250 a piece. but I dont know. Just curious, you know?

pretty much any engine builder supplies these carbs in their kits. i run a pwk 38 mm carb.. i believe the pwk denotes the carb as an AIR STRYKER carb

The PWK series carbs from Keihin are good carbs. There are only two Air Stryker versions. The A/S versions have "veins" which direct the air flow over the needle area for more precise metering of the fuel at partial throttle settings. The A/S versions are available in 35mm and 38mm versions of the PWK series. The 35 and 38 mm versions are also available as non-A/S models as well.

We've put the 35 A/S on my son's Blaster and have been quite pleased. Some time in the near future, the 35 A/S will also go on my Banshee.

Regards,

Rog
