Hey Raynist,
I ran into the same thing in my area. Bought the tires online and everyone wanted to rip me off on the mounting since they didn't sell me the tires. I found a manual tire changer at Harbor Freight, cost me 40 bucks but it became a matter of principal.

Most car tire dealers can't do it because the rims are to small for their equipment.

A agree, Buy a tire changer for Less then $50 at harbor frieght/Post tools. I see them on E-Bay all the time. I got mine on E-bay for $40.00. It has paid for itself several times over. Best off all I can change a tire anytime I need too.

I took my stock tires/wheels as well as a set of Blackwater XT's on ITP Chrome steel wheels to Discount Tire (chain store) in Flint, MI on Miller Rd... (ding, ding, ding free advertising, gimme free tire work, lol) Anyway, they swapped all 8 tires wheels (Blackwater's onto stock wheels and stock tires onto the ITP steel wheels) for $20. I asked them if they were going to have a problem with bending the stock aluminum wheels, they said no. The manager has a quad and answered no also. BTW, they sell ATV tires, saw brochures for Carlisle, Titan, and few others, WAY dirt cheap too. I am gonna check there next time I buy tires. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
