Why, to be honest, I have owned most everything else and was riding a gutless, mild (but new) 400ex. Was getting spanked by basically a stock Banshee (my previous ride before the 400ex) and it was time too step up. I purchased the Raptor and spanked my previous Banshee even before the Raptor was broke in. Even though I will never purchase another Yamaha product....while the Raptor is in working condition.....it is reasonably fast and an awesome trail rider.

i bought mine because I thought it was the meanest machine out there.Turns out it is the most unstable,unreliable pile of S*#T that I have ever owned.So I am selling it to buy a CBR600F4.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

To start: I bought the Rap because it was the best fit for my type of riding. I looked at the Shee, EX and DS, but the Rap is what fit my needs best.
Since I'm feeling a little froggy tonight from breakin in the new motor I'll continue.
Now, Rush, there is a line of fine folks just waiting for you to run your mouth again. Put up or shut up! Wait.....let me guess. Your a young man who is trying to act big behind your computer screen or wait......maybe you just aren't aware of the type of people you are talking to or wait..... maybe you don't even have a quad and thought it would be cool to come in here and start a war. IT DOESN'T MATTER, you won't show anyway!
Finally, 73Raptor. SEE YA! Don't let the door hit ya where the Lord split ya! bye bye....
Anyway, back to the topic. I now have made the Rap fit my needs even more as some of you have done too. hehe
