Hi, i don't own a Raptor but i will soon(in about 3 months). The reason why i want a raptor is becaus my Dad have a 1992 Yamaha Timberwolf, and i beat the hell out of it, and 10 years later it still works like new. So i really like Yamahas. Iv'e tried a modded 400 EX, and it was kinda cool, nice power and good andling, i was very impress. But a while later one of my friend bougt himself a Raptor. One day he said take it for a ride. I was like YEAH!!!. I drove it a while and it was so good, the 400ex was like a baby's quad compared to the Raptor. So now I wanted a Raptor, but another of my friend bouht a DS-650. The problem with the ds is that the guy would not want to race the Raptor for some reason. Well they race one time but it was not fare. The ds started in front and the raptor had 2 people on it, but guess what the raptor was getting real close to him, so went the ds guy saw that he stoped, and he started braging that he race the rap, but it was not a fare start, he was already in front went they started and they was 2 people on the Rap. So with that i saw that the raptor was really the best quad for me.

So in about 3 months i will have my own Raptor, i just can't wait!!!

Because I have so much fun I can't stop laughing when I'm riding it.

Because I bought it for $2000 less than a new one with $1000 in accessories on it, only one month old. and it was an 02. Didn't plan on buying one, but I couldn't pass up that offer.

After riding & racing an 86 250R for several years I got tired of the constant tinkering required by a built 16 year old 2 stroke (to say nothing of the blow ups!) & the Raptor was faster than the R (.7 in 100 yards). The huge amounts of torque makes dune runnin a breeze & it's just a blast!!

Mainly it's because I can't wipe the grin off my face when I ride it!!

As soon as I saw it for the first time I knew I had to have it!! It was the coolest looking quad ever put out. And the top of the food chain! It had AWESOME written all over it. It is the "PREDATOR" not the prey (sorry pooplaris)!!!

It IS a blast everytime I ride it, it has unbelievable torque. Nothing to match the torque that this machine puts out... and I'm adding more right now!!! ha ha haaaa

RAPTOID = half beast/half machine

Because the last thing that I jumped on that made me that excited...I married!!

Raptors are solid, fun bikes to ride that I thought would fit my needs the best, especially considering that I do alot of trail riding.

Although having the love for sporty machines my parents always insisted that I have Utilities. The closest I ever came to getting a sport bike was a 198? Yamaha 225DX 3 Wheeler. I had so much fun on it but got ragged really hard by my 250R "friends" that we (225DX and me) "became one" and I vowed to always stick by her. Then in college I started looking at the 1995 Warrier 350, hoping to get it as a college graduation present instead I got a used Big Bear 350. All have been fun and I am very thankful to have the parents I got but I never got my dream quad (Sport Quad). My wife knowing my dream was to own a sport quad decided to get me one last Christmas and came home with the Raptor. She did not know the difference just told the guy I want the "Bad Yamaha". Boy was I surprized and she could not have made a better choice. To be trueful I had not kept up with the quads for a few years so I did not even know it existed. But it was love at first sight and have not lost wood yet!

Screw Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word  get a Raptor!

I bought mine because it had every feature I was looking for. Namely, I wanted something like my 87 Warrior with more power and better handling. Plus, it has more power left in it than any other machine you can buy right now that's easily attainable with a pipe and jetting.
