Because raptors are the best fourwheelers made today. i had a 2001 and sold it for a 2002 banshee stupid mastake and then traded that for a 2002 yz426. I wish i had a 2002/2003 raptor because they have all the upgrades.

Oh, by the way, about $$$$$$ equaling fast DS's, would you care to say how much you have spent and probably STILL can't get close enough to Randy to even call it a RACE!!! I better get off of you guys forum before I really get bashed!! All I have is Baja, jetted and breathing through my new Trinity exhaust!!! All in all, I love both quads. It's all about fun!!! I bought my raptor because it was only a few bucks more than the 01 warrior I had. And I needed more power.

I bought my first one just to tease my son and was going to let him buy it after a trip to the dunes. My first ride on it was at the dunes and I had so much fun I decided to keep it for myself. He was on a 300ex at the time and I roosted and buried him like cat crap. I ended up with two more Raptors within two months of that trip. They may not be the fastest but they are fun.

Second 686 is few new parts roughly 500 doollars. I have never run Randy so you are talking out your a$$. I do not care if you have a monday, tuesday,wensday or friday bike, Your DS is nothing. Piped raptors will take you all day long. I have seen it 100's of time at the strip at my house. I plan on running Randy real soon. I know that it will be a lot closer than the 5000 dollar parts spread.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] You can't ride on Randy's coattail forever, so spend some $$$ and get fast.


Raptorrc has a faster 686 than mine and his total bill was less than 500. I am in it for the fun, and i like to go fast. I plan on tearing the raptor down, 1 more time. I have some ideas in mind. When you can work on the quads YOURSELF you save a lot of $$$ and get satisfaction at the same time. I have seen 2 fast DS's and you are not 1 of the 2.
