I checked the compression on my blaster the other day. I held the throttle wide open and it took three kicks for it to level off at 120 psi. I think this is the correct way to do it. Any idea on how long before it will need to be rebuilt? I have heard to start thinking about a rebuild at around 110 psi, but I am going to get rid of it next year and don't want to spend the money on it unless I have to.

I didn't know I was suppose to get it to operating temp. However, I did get the temp. up. I didn't ride it much, but I did let it idle for a while then check it. If it was up to operating temperature would that make my reading low or high. I did let it cool a little before I removed the plug.

it needs to be warm cause the metal will expand a little and could give you a low reading if it is too cool.
