Is it time for the Sand yet?

May 1st 2002, I was bitten by the bug. The sand bug that is. Glamis. I've been hooked ever since. I've spent my life riding the deserts of Southern California and the last couple years rideing in our local mountains. There is reasons to ride these areas as well. I've ridden the San bernardino mountains, deserts of Southern California, Glamis, Pismo, Little Sahara Utah, St Anthonys, Idaho (My favorite) and the Rocky Mountains of Montana. I guess I'm saying there is more to do than just ride sand. Sand is a blast, but to answer the other guys question, there is more than just sand.

Yes, I'm a big Sand Dune fan. The horror stories of the drunken idiots that frequent Glamis kept me away all these years. But like I said. I've been bitten by the sand bug. I'll just pick and choose my weekends to go to Glamis, Dumont etc. I won't spend my day flying up Olds and Comp hills. I'll get my runs in and go play on the dunes. Oh, and bmbanshee if its hills you want, your going to the wrong place. Little Sahara Utah has the hill. Its called Sand Mountain. If you want challanging hills, St Anthonys is the place to go. Big hills and bigger dunes.
