Piped Raptor vs Piped Z400
#12
I actually saw this EXACT race last weekend. I said to myself "this is what dirtwheels needs to see". They raced up a hill about 5 or 6 different times. I was suprised when the Z beat the rap the 1st time. But they pretty much evened out with the races. Either the Z won 4-2 or they tied 3-3. I cant really remember. I was to busy wasting them both on my Banshee!! But I was SO suprised how I could feel the power of both the machines when they took off. I could feel it in my chest and was grinning ear to ear!

who ever said the z breathes has no clue the z is 1 of the most chocked up quads there is and there is 2 yoshi pips 1 giving the z a bad name it says susuki on it and the end cap looks stock susuki and yoshi made some deal anyways i have the open "race" yoshi and alba max flow with kn and outerwears the jetting went from a 130 stock all the way up to a 160 and i need more i went to sand fest and raced several raptiors and very well won some lost some so i think they are very comparible just my thoughts please lets not make this a big z v r thing just stating you have to compare uqaully equiped quads and the air box thing gave me way more power any z owners should b the first thing you do

Scrambler01, dude you are on crack.
The machine isn't even out yet, but you're sure the mew predator will kick both of them .
I am also excited about the Polaris sport machine. I think they may try some unconventional methods to solve some of the issues, and they just might come up with something revolutionary. I would like to see how the steering geometry feels, as they seem to brag about it's design.
But as far as it kicking either the Z or the Raptor, you look like a goof calling that one.
Wait and see how they compare when more than the magazine's machines are available....

We are talking about a "Piped" 400 and a piped 660. Of course a GrandNational will eat most V8s Thats just common knowledge, but like another guy said, take away the turbo and you have a cutlas. These machines are not even in the same engine class, plain and simple and end of story. To put it simple would a Honda civic VTEC 4cyl with Hotshot Headers and exhaust be able to beat a V6 Honda Accord VTEC with the same exact header and exhaust set up??? Answer... No,if the driver has the same skills. If the rider of the 660 is BAD, cripes a 83 ATC 185 could beat it, depending on the skills and tactics of the better rider
