Which is better? Is the Raptor bend better than the ATV bend on a Raptor? Why?

I like Oneal bars so this is my experience using them. The quad bend bars are too short from the end to the first bend. You don't have room for a full size grip, throttle, and brake master cylinder. Your brake master cylinder ends up mounted in the turn, which angles the lever upward (instead of parallel to the bar). If you don't understand what I mean, loosen your master cylinder clamp and slide the cylinder towards the center of the bar. You can cut your grip down though. Personally, I like the CR high bend bars, but they are too straight for a lot of people. I started using them on the TT bike and have gotten used to them.

I purchased a few sets of bars (quad, YZ, CR hi/lo) before I finally was satisfied. I am running the quad bars on the 250x due to its narrow size, CR hi on the TT, and quad on the playbike but it is soon to get the CR hi.

I have the ATV bend TAG bars. I think the basic difference between the two is that there is less space on the ATV bend bars to attach all the controls. I managed just fine on mine (just), so no problems for me. The other difference would be the riding possition. No one is better than the other. Both are good, so go with the one that makes you happy!!

i have the renthal raptor bend and i love them and i hate them. what i'm trying to say is, if they are not adjusted to your liking you'll hate them. and once you find where you like your bars clamped, mark them so when you have a roll over or take them off you can put them back to the sweet spot. example. took my bars off to work on my steering stem. put them back on and hated them. i had terrible arm pump and couldn't hold the throttle on tight right hand turns. i adjusted the bars down to get my hands on top and now i love them again. one more piece of advise. whatever works for your buddy may not work for you. don't be afraid to adjust your bars/controls til you like where they are. good luck
