ok...but...doesnt the gap between 1st and 2nd get larger when you go up on the cs.
stock is 13/40 your at 14/40 and 14mins is at 15/40?

 

WIthout more power, the gap would get worse.....mine is very mild and I only notice but a small 1-2 gap....the increased torque takes care of it! Have you piped + properly jetted your Raptor yet?

 

oh yeah...ive got a piston,cam,pipe,jet kit,no lid,+2 swingarm..yada,yada,yada
but i am still running stock gearing,mostly trail riding...
your right though,the more i mod the less i"feel"the gap
i actually bought a 14t just have never installed it

 

Definately give it a try (especially on your modded ride). Run a bud....install the 14 and notice the difference in quickness.....I would bet you are quicker. If you don't like it....the sprocket is a small investment anyway.
