~Warrior Trans Prob~

Hey Sup,
I just bought a 1988 yamaha warrior, I got it cheap because the head had a broken bolt in it and 3 gear was messed up. I tore it apart and fixed the head bolt with a tap and dye and drill, it worked pretty well. The problem with the trans was that when shifted into 3rd gear it would hop out of gear at or near 1/2 throttle. I split the case and found a shift fork sheard on one side. I found out it wasnt the 3rd gear for it was the 5th gear fork. an entirely different gear cluster. I checked the 3rd gear cluster and forks. they looked perfect. i went through the gears by had and they felt great and i couldnt see a prob. i put the new fork in and then put it all back together,(i rebuilt it while i did this). i got it back together and back in the bike. redid the plastic, put on a t-4 pro circuit exaust,nerfs,jetkit,advanced the timming 1 tooth. it runs great and sounds great. i put everything on it. then came the test ride. i went out through my yard and got into it, it got to about 3/4 throttle it never came outa gear. i didnt know then but i needed a clutch i still havnt got. i put new hight prefomance barnett clutch spring set in it and gave it one heck of a hard pull. i still need the clutch but then i was messin wit a guy on his 300ex and i was in 3rd and got into it hard i was wide open and i thought it poped outa gear.( The Swingarm is busted and was welded wrong so the rear was crooked it might have just binded the chain but i dont know. I dont know what to do. everything works great and i dont belive the problem is in the trans i spent 3 hours inspecting every part and movin and mesuring thing for play it was fine. i think it may be the clutch possibly dissengagein but i dunno. i dont know were else to turn or do, i dont wanna pull the tranny again so does any body have any suggestions on what i can do about it????. i really need some help. O yeah and i got rid of the airbox and put just a k&n off the back i mean in fourth and 5th gear i can pull a wheelie no prob just dont know what to do tho. any suggestions would be great.
