I use my Wolverine for WINTER riding and I love it. I have over $2,000 worth of engine modifications and Works Performance Shocks front and rear to help me adjust from my Raptor when I switch in late fall. The Wolverine is a great sport/utility ATV but remember it is not the fastest but I consider it one of the most reliable. If your an agressive rider with some modifications it can be the fastest 4-wheel drive ATV (tight trails) on the market. If you choose the Wolverine, you made a good decision based on the value of the dollar verses what you get in return.

I have no regrets with mine...I havent been able to put it through anything it didnt make it out of yet knock on wood, top speed stock may vary slightly but i did see a stock 2000 radared at 58mph. Mine will run close to 65mph right now, it stays even with a 400 Scrambler both bikes topped out. I no clue on gas milage because mine is rejetted and is modded. I think the next thing im gonna do is put a .430 race cam from web cam and a 365 kit from powroll. Any info on what it may give me would be appreciated thanks. I dont think you will have any regrets with the wolverine and i honestly dont know about the best deal on a new one.

I have had allot of quads and the wolverine is my favorite.
My engine is still stock. I thought about some engine mods but anymore
power I would just hurt myself. I have had mine stuck a couple of
times but for what it lacks going through deep mud you gain in
handling. Its the very best all around quad.
As for the winch mount switch, I saw a wireless winch I think
it was in Dirt Wheels Magazine.

So far I have had only one regret on getting a wolverine, I wish I bought a blue Wolverine!!!!!! Other than that Its a very sporty and fun 4x4. The only problem i have with it is that is full time 4 wheel drive, which is not that bad. Other than that I LOVE it!!!! Mine tops out around 58mph stock, but takes a while to get there. I could go over 80 miles on a tank of gas. The Wolverine can ALMOST handle anything, except for deep mud. I think the Wolverine can climb steep hills better than my Big Bear. In So. California you could probably get an 03 Wolvy in the low 4000's, but I haven't been looking for one lately.

Big4x4, What color did you buy? I have a green one and love the color! I almost bought a blue one and was kinda skeptical about the green, But I love it now.

Recycledbodies I have had mine almost a year now and love it. The stock tires are sad they pull ok but the first time out I ripped a hole in the side wall- nothing an intertube wouldn't fix. As far as price I got my 01 when the 02 first came out for $4,499 new. Gas mileage, I have rode for eight hours with out running low. Good luck.

WVBARTMAN and SpDdEmOn nice set ups on your Wolverines
