I own a raptor and a zilla but i just baught the zilla and it needs some help so I am rebuilding it.
it was running when I took it a-part but it had next to no copression.but it would hang with my raptor in a drag.
What i want to know is have any of you ever raced a HEALTHY zilla???
If yes please tell me what kind of bike you where riding and what was the outcome of the race.
I'v been told that the zilla is a super fast bike when healthy and should mash my raptor in a drag race. is this true?

No chance a raptor could keep up to a zilla, zilla is a 500 twin 2 stroke. My cousin did a ice drag race, i dont know the lenght but he did about 90 mph. THEY SMOKE

I have ran with and beaten some Zilla's with my 686 Raptor.........as far as them being healthy and on their game, I can only assume that they were. It was by no means an easy task, they made me work to do it!!

The Zilla is an awesome machine. I don't believe that they have twin cylinders though. The Banshee is the only factory equipt quad that comes with a twin cylinder engine. I haven't spent much time around them and I could be wrong..........but I don't think I am.

Yes it does. I had some great races wil somebody at Silver Lake. I ran five or six time. If I would win he'd give me a thumbs up and I would return the good sportsmanship if he won. It's always nice to race with people like that.

 

This is just my opinion. JMO

A stock Zilla will smoke a stock Raptor.
A maxed out modded Zilla will smoke a maxed out modded Raptor.

500cc 2 stroke vs a 660cc 4 stroke? Please. Its a no contest.

I've only seen 1 zilla. It was my only trip to Glamis. (soon to be many more). It was at the gecko rd drags and there were plenty of mooded banshees and raptors, DS etc. It was the fastest by far. So much so that it would toy with everyone as it would pull up next to you and pump his throttle once or twice then, move on up to the next pack and then the next etc and then finaly just mash the throttle and roost everyone behind it. If I had the money it would be a quad in my stable, so would a Banshee. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

The Zilla is just a beast. The raptor doesnt compare to the insaneness of the zilla. Even if the raptor is modded its going to have one heck of a time trying to keep up with it. If the raptor was anything close to the intensity of the zilla, i'd buy one today.
