<< Hummmm??? RaptorRcR 5.7@63mph,THEMOOSE 5.7@54mph!! Bouth running 300foot??? how is that possable!! I know one was on sand and one was on pavment!but? >>
<< MOJOVEKID, The reason that THEMOOSE and RAPTORRCR ran the same time but diff. speeds is REACTION TIME. If you do not no what that is its how quick one gets of the line when the tree goes green >>
Actually it has nothing to do with reaction time (sorry)
It has more to do with gearing, HP, Handleing & most of all track surface.
I don't know what his gearing is but it's probably diffrent on his for pavement & mine for sand.
I'm sure he's pumping out more more HP than my stock piped Raptor with his cammed 686 so he can pull a taller gear & that means more top speed.
Since he said that he had some problems with the launch & it was hard to keep straight that killed his ET.
OIn pavement he can keep the power transfered to the track & on sand even at the top end my tires are spinning & that costs me speed.
Hope that answers your question.
