hey 95ram are you bringing your BB to your dealer for its first tune up or you doing it yourself? Mine has about 225 miles and I am changing the oil today because it is a little foamy I think I got some water in it but I am bringing mine to the dealer soon so I am not going to waste the money to change the oil filter when they do that anyways

I am going to change the oil/filter/and diferential fluid. I have cleaned the air filter, but am going to replace it with a K&N. I am kinda a K&N fan, I have always had them in all my rigs. As for the valves, I am going to buy a service manual, and just have my mechanic friend who has a feeler gauge (however its spelled and no I am not 12!)help my check/adjust the valves. I am to damn poor to pay the shop $150 for an oil change. I am a college student, I need all the wheelin money I can get! LOL

ya I know what you mean lol I just want the dealer to do it for me the first time and that will be the onyl time he sees my BB in the sop (hopefully) But I gatta adjust the valves on my little mazda pickup anyways so I would rather screw up on that then my BB since that mazda (truck behind my BB in my pictures) cost me $700 lol not $5274 Oh and are you rejetting your carb for the K&N?? Because the only thing really holding me back from getting one is rejetting because I just don't want to mess with my carb its just a headache for me

i sujest that you buy the K&N atv power kit. here's a linkhttp://www.knpowersports.com/docs/powerkit.html

scroll down almost to the bottom of the page, they increase HP by 15% and they only cost ~$100 american.

the ticking won't hurt anything but it does get annoying, my XR needs valve adjustments quite often too.

I didn't know you had to rejet the carb for a K&N airfilter? I was just planning on dropping in a new filter. Is this bad?????

I think after I get my tires and chains I will get that K&N kit. My BB is only 2 wheel drive so I definately need to get better meats in the rear, and some chains for the snow!

You won't have to rejet just by dropping in a K&N filter which you can buy separately from the Power Kit. The Power Kit comes with new jets along with the other stuff that would have to be jetted once they are installed.

95ram I have heard that it is better to do because by using the K&N more air is let into the intake but I know nothing about this stuff so does someone know if it is possible to put a K&N on and still get the power increase without re-jetting??
