Thanks alot everyone for the information what mixture of the liquid coolant should be used? Like for instance on my cr 125 that i am selling it was use half distelled water then the other half anti freeze? Is it the same type of deal or what?

Piranha, it didn't sound like you were dissing the Banshee; I don't think anybody took it like that at all.

Anyway, I think we agree for play riding and mild jumping it is fine but that is certainly not it's strong point.

Crazyspeed, 50/50 is what you should mix at.

For the coolant, I recommend using Engine Ice, you run it straight. I put this in my banshee and it seems to run a lot cooler. I don't have a temp gauge, but I know a guy that says his Goldwing dropped about 25 degrees by simply changing the coolant.

Wyo, I believe you said at one time you had a temp gauge? Did you buy a kit or build it yourself? I am thinking about getting one. Also, if you would be interested in changing to Engine Ice, I would be happy to send you a bottle to try since I am curious as to how much the temp actually dropped. Just PM me.

As for the suspension, I think the fact that front shocks are more straight up than other bikes contributes to the choppiness. Plus, the frame is wide. Look at a raptor lower shock mount and the width of the frame between upper a-arm mounting brackets. Personally, I think the banshee rear works great when adjusted right.

Alky, go here WyoDuner's Banshee Temp Gauge Mod to see how it's done. It's simple and cheap - about $10 if you buy everything new. Also, Vito's has a 2" round automotive style gauge and kit that he sells for $69 which looks OK if you don't mind putting a 2" hole in your plastic. Don't buy the Warp Drive kit as it is $35 and basically the same thing as my $10 mod.

I've heard good things about the Engine Ice - DSAholic uses it and he feels his DS runs cooler. Thanks for the offer but why not do the temp gauge mod and see for yourself.
